Anamchara: A new expression of monasticism.
Founded in the tradition of the Episcopal Church, with a Celtic spirit, we arean inclusive community, welcoming all people: clergy and lay, married, single, or partners in a committed relationship. We are bound to each other by common ideals and a commitment to prayer and service; our primary ministries focus on retreats and quiet days, pastoral care, intercessory prayer and spiritual direction. Members of the Fellowship may live in their own homes or in groups as the ability for that arises. Anamchara Fellowship has received canonical recognition by the House of Bishops’ Committee on the Religious Life.
Several members of Grace are affiliated with Anamchara, as members and as companions. They share Celtic Spirituality with the congregation, as well as sharing their journey in following the Charisms of Hospitality, Generosity, Compassion, and Love, which are nearly identical to the Charisms of Grace: Hospitality, Inclusivity, Compassion and Love.
